Wren dress

Kaixo! Hemen nago proiektu berri batekin :-) egia esan gauza asko josten nabil...baina noski blogeatzeko denbora izatea gehiegizkoa da! Baina soineko hau josi nuenean, ez neukan dudarik, zuekin ondo konpartitu beharra neukan, IGko argazki soil bat ez zen nahikoa izango.

¡Hola! Aqui estoy con un nuevo proyecto :-) estoy cosiendo bastante, pero de eso a tener tiempo para bloguear,,,¡va un rato! Pero cuando cosí este precioso vestido, pensé que tendría que escribir una entrada, con solo una foto de IG no iba a ser suficiente.
 

Hello! Here I am with a new project :-) I'm sewing a lot lately, but to save time to blog...is very difficult! But when I sewed this beautiful dress, I thought I would have to write a post, with just one photo of IG was not going to be enough.

Colette Patternsen Wren soinekoa da, bueno...goiko zatia bai baina behekoa gona kapa bat da kapa erdi hain zuzen ere. Kapa gonak maite ditut, nire figurara ederto egokitzen den gona era da. Eta zergatik erdi? Ba ez neukalako oihal gehiago, kar, kar, kar!!!

Es el vestido Wren de Colette Patterns, bueno...la parte de arriba porque la de abajo es una falda capa, más concretamente una media capa. Me encantan estas faldas, para mi figura son las mejores, y porque media capa, pues porque no había más tela, ¡¡¡ja, ja, ja!!!

It's the Wren dress by Colette Patterns. Well... the top yes but the bottom is a circle skirt, more specifically a half circle skirt. I love these skirts, for my figure are the best. This turned out a 1/2 circle skirt, because there was no more fabric, ha, ha, ha!!!

Bueno eta orain Masustakek egin dituen kagadatxoak...bai, bai izan dira! Hasteko neurria gaizkiiiiiii!!!! Txikiegi egin dut, hori dela eta eskotea zabaldu behar izan nuen gerrialdea sartzeko eta azkenean sakonegia geratu da...you know what I mean... kar, kar, kar!!!! Eta bestalde gona....laburra, baina oihal gehiago ez neukanez, ba horrela geratuko da.

Bueno y ahora las cagadas de Masustak....si, si, si las tengo! Para empezar el tamaño, calque y corte una talla demasiado pequeña, y luego claro... tuve que ir separando las partes para que la cintura me entrara. Al final, escote demasiado profundo... you know what I mean... ¡¡¡ja, ja, ja!!! Y la falda demasiado corta, pero para eso no hay solución porque no tenía más tela.

Well and now what was going bad in this project. To start the size, I had copied and cut a size too small, and then clear ... I had to go separating the bust pieces to accomodate well the waist. In the end, the neckline is too deep ... you know what I mean ... ha, ha, ha !!! And the skirt too short, but for that there is no solution because I had no more fabric.

Eta oihala???? Ederra ez hurrengoa! Coser Cosasen erosi nuen orain dela denbora asko eta Dieta Masustak egiten ari naizenez (hau da ez dut pare bat hilabetetan oihalik erosi), horrek kajoietan gordeta nituen altxorrak aurkitzeko parada eman dit. Oihal asko badituzue, dieta egitera animatzen zaituztet! Nik bi hilabete egin ditut eta oraindik beste hilabete bat egingo dudala uste dut, eraginkorra da! Ba hori, oihal hau pasada bat dela, koloreak, ukitzerakoan ze suabea den...oso polita. Oihala gustoko baduzue pasatu Wendyren web orritik merketuta dauka eta (hemen), larrosa kolorean ere badago.

¿¿¿¿Y la tela???? ¡Preciosa no lo siguiente! La compré en Coser Cosas hace mogollón y la he descubierto perdida en un cajón gracias a la Dieta Masustak (llevo dos meses sin comprar ni una tela). Si tenéis muchas telas os animo a hacerlo es muy efectivo, yo llevo dos meses y voy a seguir otro mes más. Pues eso, la tela me encanta, esos colores vibrantes y el tacto que tiene...muy bonita. Si os gusta la tela pasaros por la tienda de Wendy que la tiene rebajada (aqui), también la tiene en color rosa.

And the fabric???? Beautiful! I bought it in Coser Cosas many months ago and I have rediscovered it lost in a box thanks to the Masustak Diet (I have not bought fabric during two months). If you have many fabrics, I encourage you to do this diet, it is very effective, I have been two months and I will continue another month. Well, I love the fabric, those vibrant colours and the texture... very pretty. If you like the fabric, stop by the Wendy´s store, she has the fabric on sale (here).

Edoskitzerako oso aproposa da patroi hau, eskote sakontasunak ere laguntzen du, kar, kar, kar!

This dress is perfect for breastfeeding, and the addition of the neckline depth because even more ha, ha, ha, ha!

Sarrera honen izena "Kolore ikutua!" da. Hasteko ehunaren marrazkiek hori gogoratzen zidatelako, margotzen dabilen margolariaren bat batekoa, han hemenkako pintzeladak eta gainera egun triste eta lainotsua aukeratu nuelako argazkiak ateratzeko. Nork esango zidan nire lehenengo Laurel jantzia eguzki epeletan erakutsiko nizuela eta hurrengo Laurela 12 bat gradutara jantziko nuela...udaberria da eta ezin kexatu!

This post is called "Splash of colour!" because of the fabric print (it reminds me the brush strokes of a painter on a canvas) and because of the contrast between my dress and the leaden sky, threatening rain. In my previous post I was with my cotton madras Laurel enjoying a warm day and in this case, while we were taking pictures, it was 12º..it is spring!

Polyester suabe eta nahiko loditxoa da aukeratu dudan ehuna, Rafael Matiasen aurkitu nuen altxorra da, retal piloen artean aurkitu nuen momentutik kautibatu ninduen ehun honek. Loditxoa denez ez diot forrorik jarri eta udaberri udazkenerako oso aproposa delakoan nago.

This fabric is a soft and warm Polyester that I have bought in Rafael Matias. The truth is that it was a hidden treasury between a mountain of fabric scraps to good price. It is thick and heavy, so it´s perfect for spring and autumm, without sewing lining.

Kremallera ezkutu beltza eta bies zinta beltza erabili dut akabera guztiak egiteko. Mahuka eta zamaldean biesa barnekaldean josi dut eta eskuzko puntadak eman ditut garbiago geratu dadin. Behekaldean biesa kanporantza jarri dut nire hanka zuri eta jantziaren artean transizioa ondo ikusi dadin.

I have sewn a black invisible zipper and black bias binding to finish all the edges. Around the neckline and the sleeves the bias binding is sewing inside but in the hemline I have sewn the bias binding outside, I think that it was a good idea to make a transition between the dress and my chalky legs without tights.

Abrako itsasadarraren argazki eder hauetaz gozatu izana espero dut, egun gris hauek beraien xarman dute ezta? Beno ba jantzia gustoko izatea espero dut ;-) musu handi bat eta ondo hasi astea!

Hemen daukazue Laurel patroiarekin egin dudan hirugarren bertsioa. Jantzi labur eta freskoa uda girorako aproposa! Pasaden asteburuan egin zuen giro epelean oso gustora ibili nintzen nire jantzi berriarekin, sandaliak baino ez zitzaizkidan falta!

Jantzi honetarako erabili dudan ehuna trukean lortu nuena da, CarmencitaBkin egindako trukean . Madras kotoia da, ikutu leunekoa eta kolore bizikoa.

This is my third Laurel. A short and fresh dress to wear in the summer! Last weekend we had warm weather (a strange thing because on monday, it was snowing in the mountains!), I enjoyed very much my new Laurel, but I forgot my sandals!

The fabric is from the exchange I have made with CarmencitaB. It´s a soft cotton madras with bright colours.

Laurel patroiak lau bertsio ditu: sinplea eta forroa izan dezakeena, mahuketako pieza daukana, sakelduna eta alkandora. Nik sakelduna egin dut eta biesaren norabidean ebaki ditut sakelak. Atzekaldean kremallera ezkutua josi diot.

The Laurel pattern has four versions: with lining, with gathered cuffs, with pockets and the blouse. This plaid fabric was calling to the pockets version. I cut on bias the pockets  and I have sewn a invisible zipper on the back.

Bestalde mahukei eskumuturdunak edo tolesdura jarri diet, Rosyrekin ikasi nuen era honetako akabera egiten, nire Fuksia berokiak ere horrelakoak zeuzkan. Zamaldearen akabera bies horiarekin egin dut eta dena makinaz josita utzi dut.

I have changed the sleeve with a cuff. I love this kind of sleeves! I remembered Rosy´s tutorial to make them, so my dress has the same cuff than my Fuchsia coat. The neckline is finished with yellow bias tape on the wrong side of the dress.

Zelako patroia!!!!!!!! Izugarri gustatu zait, iadanik lau josi ditudala aurreratzen dizuet...bai, bai 4! Bi alkandora eta bi jantzi, baina momentuz alkandorak erakutsiko dizkizuet. Coletten Laurel patroia da, erreza, elegantea eta oso erosoa. Zoratu egin naiz patroi honekin....enbalatuta nago! Kar, kar, kar! The Laurel sewing contestean parte hartuko dut noski :-) Colette patroi etxeak abian jarri duen lehiaketa da eta milaka sari dituzte!!!!! Egin beharrekoa, Laurel patroia erosi eta nahi duzun bertsioa josi.

Love this pattern!!!!!!!! I like it very much, I can tell you that I have sewn 4 versions as yet...four! Two blouses and two dresses, but today I´m going to show you my two blouses. This pattern called Laurel, is from the Colette Sewing Patterns. It´s easy to sew, looks elegant and is very comfy. I´ve gone crazy with Laurel! Ha, ha, ha! And sure, I´m going to take part in The Laurel Sewing Contest :-) This is a challenge hosted by Colette where you can win many prizes, you have to buy the pattern and sew your own version.

Beno ba hemen duzue nire lehenengo Laurel alkandora. Hau josi nuen lehena izan zen eta muslina ez nuenez egin, neurria berarekin testeatu nuen. Handitxoa geratu zitzaidan eta hurrengoetarako neurri txikiagoa erabili dut.

Then, this is my first Laurel version. This is my very first Laurel, I have not sewn a muslin, so I have tested the size with this version. It turned out too big so for the next versions I cut a smaller size.

Ehuna internetez erosi nuen, Tiendatelasen, Polyester bat da eta marrazkiak politak izan arren josteko ez da betere erraza eta ehunaren taktua ez zait askorik gustatu, baina beno metroa 2 eurotan zegoenez ez dit burukomin handirik emango.

I bought the fabric on the internet, in the Tiendatelas website, it´s a Polyester. Although it has a beautifull print, it was difficult to sew and I didn´t love much its touch, but it cost me 1,95 euro/m so I will not have a big headache with my choice.

Zerbait desberdina egin nahi nion eta Colettek proposatzen zuen tolesdura txikitxoak egin nizkion zamaldean. Coletten dokumentu hau oso interesgarria da bertan Laurel josteko aukera desberdinak ematen dizkigu, dohaineko dokumentua da. Asko gustatu zait efektua, beste alkandoraren batean erabiliko dudalakoan nago.

Mahuketan ehun berdineko bies zinta jarri diot baina bi aldiz josi dut kamiseten antzerako akabera emateko.

As always, I wanted to make something different so I have sewn tiny ruffles around the neckline, an option from the Laurel extras, a free document with many options to make your Laurel very special. I love the effect, I will make something similar in other project.

For the sleeve I have sew an exposed bias binding, topstiching each sleeve twice.

Marradun ehuna, Rafael Matiasen erosi nuen Popelina da, iadanik konturatuko zineten segituan tximurtzen dela ezta? Baina aurrekoa ez bezala ehun honen taktua gustoko dut, uda sasoirako oso freskoa da.

I found this stripy fabric in Rafael Matias, it´s poplin, and is wrinkled too fast, do you notice it? But, it´s a cute and fresh fabric for the summer I love its touch.

Alkandora honi botonera faltsua jarri diot eta botoiak berokiko botoien jatorri berdinekoak dira ;-) nire Izeko Maribiren kaxakoak dira, batek daki zenbat urte dituzten!

Mahuketan barrukaldera josita, bies zinta jarri diot eta zamalderako patroia erabiliz barruko piezak egin dizkiot eta akabera oso fina eta garbia geratu da.

I have sewn a faux placket and the buttons are from my Aunt´s box, like the coat´s buttons ;-) I don´t know how many years they are!

The sleeves have bias binding and for the neckline, I have drafted my own facing pieces, using the original pattern and the result is cute and neat.

 Eta outfita amaitzeko Coletten Meringue gona jarri dut, bien artean bikote ederra egiten dute!

Aurreko sarreran Naiik esan zidan nire mini-maiderrak ikusi nahi zituela, honen inguruko sarrerak ikusi nahi badituzue (hemen), programatzen ditudan proiektuak aurrera eramaten jarraitzen dudala konturatuko zarete. Oraingoan martxoan eskua artean ditudan proiektuak erakutsiko dizkizuet.

En la anterior entrada Naii me comentó que echaba de menos mis mini-maider, si véis las entradas sobre mis minis (aqui), os daréis cuenta de que los proyectos que me propongo van saliendo. Esta vez os enseño lo que tengo entre manos en marzo.

In my previous post, Naii commented that she missed my mini-maiders, you can see the posts about my mini maiders here, and you will realize that the projects I have proposed, are coming out. This time I show you what is in my sewing table.

Transforming the Burda 03/13 mod.119

 Lehenengo ta behin martxoko Burda Challengea erakutsiko dizuet. Hilabete hontako aldizkarian kapa bat azaltzen da (Burda 03/2013 mod.119), gustokoa nuen arren, zerbaitek ez zidan guztiz konbentzitzen, modeloak zerbait aldrebestua zeukan eta horrek arraroa bilakatzen zuen. Hori dela eta  patroia nire erara aldatzea pentsatu nuen eta emaitza marrazkiaren ebaluatzea (goian dagoen argazkian ikusi daitezke aldaketak).

Gorputza txorixo baten antzera lotzen zuen kordela kendu egin nion. Kaputxaren azkenengo piezatxoa ere fuera! Arrantzeleek eramaten duten ziren itxura ematen zion pieza horrek. Bestalde kapa neurriz kanpokoa zela iruditu zitzaidan, handiegia, hori dela eta neurri txikiena kopiatu nuen 34-36. Behekalde zuzena ez zitzaidan batere gustatzen hori dela eta kurbatu egin nuen. Belkroak itxura kutrea ematen ziola uste dut hori dela eta nireak botoi metalikoak izango ditu askozaz eleganteagoak ;-) Eta azkenik forroa jarriko diot, Euskal Herriko udaberrirako egokiago delakoan nago.

Primero os enseñaré el proyecto elegido para el Burda Challenge de este mes, es una capa. La capa que nos proponían los del Burda me gustaba (Burda 03/2013 mod.119), pero algo chirriaba o no me cuadraba en el modelo...algo hacía que este patrón fuera "raruno" sabéis de que hablo,¿verdad? Así que pensé en cambiar el patrón a mi bola y a ver que pasaba (en la imagen de arriba se puede ver los cambios que fui haciendo).

Lo primero fue, quitar la cuerda esa, que según los del Burda hacia que la capa se ajustara al cuerpo...más que ajustar diría apretar a lo chorizo cantimpalo. Por otro lado le quite la pieza a la capucha...era demasiado! Parecía el mítico petacho de las prendas de los pescadores! Por otro lado, me dio la sensación que era una prenda de tallaje super grande, así que copié el patrón 34-36. El bajo no me molaba en plan recto, así que lo hice curvado. En vede ponerle velcro he optado por botones metálicos, en mi opinión mucho más elegante y fino :-) Y por último me pareció que la loneta sin forro era poco para utilizarla en la primavera de Euskal Herria, así que le voy a poner forro.

 First of all, March Burda Challenge. Burda proposed us a cape (Burda 03/2013 mod.119) that in fact I liked, but something squeaked or not went well in the pattern ... something made ​​this pattern ugly. So I had to modify the pattern, see what happened (in the picture above you can see the changes I was making).

The first was, remove the rope that, according to the Burda  explanations, the rope fits the body ... more than adjust, I have to say that the rope tightened you like a sausage. In addition I removed the piece in the hood ...was too! It seemed a fishermen hoodie with that piece! On the other hand, I thought that it was a super big garment, so I copied the smallest size 34-36. I did not like the hemline, so I curved it. I chose metallic buttons, in my opinion more elegant :-) And finally I am going to sew lining in the cape, because the cotton canvas was not warm enough for the Basque Country´s spring.

 

Now, it is a different cape!

Zer iruditzen zaizue? Ni oso pozik nago!!! Sarrera hau argitaratzen denerako, nire kapa amaitua izango da eta seguenik jantzita eramango dut ;-) ze orain arte josi dudana oso profesionala geratzen hari zait eta oporretara eramango dudala uste dut.

Eta azkenengo mini-maiderra Colette patroi batekin jantzi dut, Colettek argitaratu duen azkenengo patroiarekin: Laurel. Ezagutzen duzue? Nik ikusi nuen momentuan, patroiaz guztiz maitemindu nintzen eta PDF bertsioa erosi nuen, noski erronkan ere parte hartuko dut (hemen). Erabilpen anitzeko patroia da, era askotara makeatu daitekeena, nik hiru bertsio desberdin pentsatuak ditut! Gainera ehun eder bat gordea daukat patroi honen jantziaren bertsioa josteko, baina hori apirilean izango da. Gaurko sarreran, josiko dudan lehenengo bertsioaren mini-maiderra erakutsiko dizuet, gainera era honetara patroiaren neurria testeatzeko balioko dit. Patroiaren laugarren bertsioa egingo dut, alkandora oso erraza kremallera gabe, baina ikutu desberdina izan dezan "ruffles batzuk josiko dizkiot zamaldean eta mahuketan.

¿Qué os parece la capa por ahora? Yo estoy super contenta!!! Para cuando esta entrada esté publicada, seguro que mi capa esta terminada y la tengo puesta ;-) porque lo que he cosido hasta ahora tiene muy buena pinta y tengo pensado llevármela de vacaciones. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado.

Y la última mini-maider de marzo es de un patrón de Colette, o mejor dicho el último: Laurel. ¿Lo habéis visto? Yo no me pude resistir y compré la versión PDF, y claro me voy a presentar al concurso que han organizado(aqui). Me encanta este patrón, es muy versátil, ya tengo en mente unas tres versiones! Una será con una tela preciosa en versión vestido, pero esto será en abril. Os enseño la primera, que es la que he utilizado para testear el patrón y las tallas. Haré la versión blusa, super sencilla sin cremallera ni nada y con unos pequeños "ruffles" en las mangas y el escote.

What do you think about the cape now? I'm super happy! By the time this post is published, sure my coat is finished and I am wearing it ;-) because  I have thought about taking it on holidays. I am very happy with the result.

And the last mini-maider of March is a Colette pattern, or rather the last pattern launched by Colette: Laurel. Have you seen it? I could not resist and bought the PDF version, and of course I'm going to participate in the contest organized (here). I love this pattern, it is very versatile, and I have in mind about three versions! One will be with a gorgeous floral fabric, but this will be in April. I show you the first one, it will be the one used to test the pattern and the sizes. It will be the blouse version, super simple and without zipper, I am going to add tiny ruffles on the sleeves and the neckline.

Azkenik apirilean egingo dudan beste sewalong bati buruz hitzegin nahi dizuet, azkenengo hau Naiik antolatu du. Parte hartzera animatzen zaituet, alkondara eder bat josi behar dugu Naiiren laguntzarekin, dagoeneko 200 bat partehartzaile izango gara!

Beno ba musu handi-handi bat guztiontzat eta nire martxoko joste planak gustatu zaizkizuelakoan agurtzen naiz, oporretatik bueltatzen naizenean emaitzak erakutsiko dizkizuet ;-)

Por último deciros que también me he apuntado al sewalong organizado por Naii. Vamos a coser una preciosa tunica diseñada por Naii. Apuntaros vosotras también, aunque igual ya os habéis apuntado, porque creo que somos unas 200 participantes!

Black Meringue

Beroki fuksiaren ostean zerbait arina eta eramangarria josi nahi nuen, udaberrian askotan jarriko nuen basikoa. Sarrera batean kontatu nizuen bezala, Colette Sewing handbooka nire eskuetan daukat :-) eta bertan patroi izugarri ederrak daude. Meringue gonarekin hastea pentsatu nuen eta nire apalean neukan ehun beltza aukeratu nuen gona josteko.

After sewing the fuchsia coat, I wanted to sew something easy and wearable, something that it would be a necessity in my wardrobe. I told you in one of my previous posts, a few weeks ago, that I bought the  Colette Sewing handbook :-) and inside it has beautiful patterns. To start with the book´s patterns, I have sewn the Meringue skirt. I chose a black light cotton fabric, it´s a kind of ribbed cotton (in the second picture you can apreciate this).

Gona hau oso erraz josten da, 5 bat ordutan patroia kopiatu, piezak ebaki eta dena josi dezakezu. Ez dakit Coletten patroiek zer daukaten baina gorputzera ederto egokitzen dira. Gona honek aurre eta atzean pintzak ditu eta aldaketan mantso-mantso egokitzen da. Eta behekaldeko forma ondulatu horiek itxura guztiz desberdina ematen dio gonari.

You can finish this skirt in five hours more or less: copy the pattern, cut all pieces and sew. I don´t know how, but Coletterie patterns are incredibly well done because it fits you very well. The Meringue skirt has two front darts, and two back darts, it´s very flattering. And the scallop hem is a different and beautifull touch.

Barrukalde guztia remalladorarekin amaitu dut, zelako akabera hona ematen duen nire josteko makina berriak! Ez diot forrorik jarri epeltzen duenerako erabili nahi dudalako. Argibideetan gerrialdeko pieza nola josi kremallerarekin argi azaltzen da, eta egia esan behar badizuet oso profesionala geratu zait! Ze pozik nagoen!

All the seams are sewn with my serger :-) I love my serger! The inside is soooo neat with it! I have not sewn lining because I want to wear it with warmer weather. The instructions about the invisible zipper and the waistband were so easy to understand and the result is very profesional! I´m very happy!

My last sewing project has a downside: the fabric is too wrinkled very fast, you can see it in the picture.

Beno ba, hurrengo asterako nire joste mahaian dauden piezen eguneraketa prestatuko dut, zertan hari naizen jakin dezazuen ;-) Musu handi bat ta ondo hasi asteburua!!!

Kaixo! Zer moduz doa uda? Eta oporrak? Ni bueltatu naiz, eguraldi ederra, bero itzela eta leku zoragarriak ezagutu ostean. Baina ez pentsa ahaztu zaituztedanik, ez, ez! Zuen blogen eguneraketa jarraitu ez arren askotan pentsatu izan dut, norbait josten izango zela seguruenik! Kar, kar, kar!

Beno ba aurreko sarreran komentatu nizuen bezalaxe Mediterraneo aldera alde egin aurretik, gauzaren batzuk josi nituen eta noski, bertara eraman nituen nire sorkuntzen erabilgarritasuna aztertu eta beraietaz gozatzeko. Egia esan oso gustora jantzi ditut egindakoak eta klima beroentzako oso patroi aproposak direla baieztatu dut.

Hi there!  How about the summer? Are you on holidays? I´m at home, I came back after visiting beautiful landscapes and sweat a lot under the sun. But don´t think that I forgot you, no, no! I didn´t follow your posts, but many times I thought, someone will be sewing right now, sure! Ha, ha, ha!

Like I told you in my last post, I was visiting an island in the Mediterranean but before that, I sewed a couple of garments, so I brought them in my suitcase to validate them and to enjoy them. I have to tell you that I was very comfortable wearing them and they are correct garments for hot climates.

Gaurkoan nire azkenengo Sorbettoa erakutsiko dizuet. Sorbettoa patroi izugarri ona da eta gainera dohainekoa! Nire bertsio honetan, aurreko tolesdura kendu diot eta zamaldean hain modan dauden "scallops"ak jarri dizkiot (begiratu Burdako sarrera hau). Nireak sortzerakoan Nette Vivianteren Candy Sundressean inspiratu naiz. Goikaldeko ertzak amaitzeko zetazko bies zinta erabili dut. Ehuna ezaguna egingo zaizue ezta? Summer-sew-along 2012an josi nuen alkandoraren ehun berdina da. Zati bat soberan neukan eta Sorbettoa laburtxoago geratu arren ondo aprobetxatuta geratu da Vichy tela.

Here is my last Sorbetto. Sorbetto is an incredible usefull, succesfull and free pattern! In my new version, I removed the front fold and I sewed scallops around the neckline (they´re so in fashion, read this Burda article). To create my scallops I was inspired by Nette Viviante´s Candy Sundress. To finish edges I sewed black silk bias tape. Do you remember this fabric? I sewed my Summer-sew-along 2012´s blouse with it. I had a leftover and the Sorbetto turned out shorter than I wanted, but it was a great project to use all my sweet vichy.

His Negroni shirt

Nire jostun mailak puntutxo bat igo duelakoan nago, oso harro sentitzen naiz nire mutil lagunari josi diodan Negroni Shirta zuei aurkezten. Hau zen aurreko sarreran komentatzen nizuen proiektu sekretua, sekretua zen berarentzako oparia zelako noski!

Colette Patternseko patroi hau orain dela hilabete asko erosia eta ezkutatua neukan, behar zen ausardia lortzen nuenean atera eta alkandora josiko nuela esaten nion nire buruari eta halaxe izan da! I think that my seamstress level is increasing, I´m proud of the Negroni Shirt I sewed for my boyfriend. This is the secret project I had, because it was a gift for him!

I bought this Colette Pattern many months ago and I hid it, I decided that when I had enough confidence to sew it I would. In june, I thought I needed a cute fabric for my Negroni, and without noticing my boyfriend and with little lies I sewed this elegant Negroni.

Alkandora hau josterakoan inoiz sentitu ez dudan joste sentsazio berria izan dut: Tan Ta Ta Txan sentzazioa. Piezak josten nituen bitartean, ez nuen batere argi ikusten asuntoa, txapuza txiki bat irtengo zitzaidala pentsatzen nuen, argibideak ez nituen ondo ulertzen eta ez nekien ondo ala txarto nenbilen, eta derrepentean, zama aldeari buelta eman paparraldea ondo jarri eta... tan ta ta txan! Negroni shirta agertu zen! Aluzinatu egin nuen! Nahiko ondo dago errepikatzen nion nire buruari eta hasierako zorabioari harrotasunak jarraitu zion, zelako pozik nengoen!

When I was sewing this shirt I had a strange new sewing sensation, I called it Tan Ta Ta Chan sensation ( I don´t know if in english this exists... it´s the sentence that a magician uses when the trick is finishing). When I was sewing pattern´s pieces, my confidence is going down, I didn´t understand very well the instructions, I didn´t know if I was in the correct way, and suddenly, I put in order the collar and the shirt front...and Tan Ta Ta Chan! My Negroni was there! I flipped! It´s going well, I was repeating on my mind. First I felt sick but then I felt so proud of me!

Hala eta guzti ez pentsa dena ondo irten zitzaidala, beti bezala akatsen bat izan zen. Alkandora josteko, marradun lino marroia erosi nuen eta hasieran 1,5 metrorekin nahiko izango nuela pentsatu nuen (Coletten ehun neurriak yardetan zeuden eta alferkeri puntu batez ez nituen metrotara pasatu...) eta azkenean ehuna faltan izan nuen. Barneko kanesua popelin beltzarekin egin behar izan nion eta zamaldearen azpikaldea ere. 

Bestalde, argibideetan bazegoen piezatxo bat ez nuela ulertzen non josi behar zen. Ingeleseko argibideak ez nituen ulertzen eta diagrama ere ez zen batere argia. Azkenean pieza bat soberan geratu zitzaidan eta gero Coletterieko argazkiak ikustean konturatu nintzen, nire Negroniari soberan geratu zitzaion pieza zama aldeko "loop" antzekoa zela...kar, kar, kar! Ez du axola!

Even so, it wasn´t a perfect project, as always I had errors. I bought a brown striped linen to sew my Negroni and I thought that 1,5m was enough (I didn´t translate Colette instructions, they were in yards... yes I was a little bit lazy...) and finally I needed more that 1,5m so I sewed the back yoke and the back collar with black popelin.

On the other hand, I couldn´t understand where I had to place a small pattern piece. I looked the instructions, I looked the diagram...finally I didn´t need my small piece, I didn´t sew it. Then I was looking Coletterie´s pictures...and oooh! My lost piece, my no-sewed piece! It was the small loop in the collar! Ha, ha, ha! But it doesn´t matter.

Beste noizbait komentatu dizuedan bezalaxe, botoiak asko gustatu arren, nire botoi zuloak desastre bat izaten dira. Hain ondo josia geratu zitzaidan Negronia, botoi zulo eskas batzuk lan guztia pikutara bidaltzeak bildurtzen ninduela, hori dela eta klip metaliko hauek erabiltzea pentsatu nuen. Ikutu polita eta modernoa ematen diotelakoan nago eta lana oso garbi geratu zait. Azkenean botoiak ez jostea ideia ona izan da.

Modeloari bere Negroni Shirta asko gustatu arren, beste bat egin behar badiot baditu kexa eta aldaketa batzuk, hori dela eta jostun onen antzera, denak apuntatu ditut hurrengo alkandora josten dudanerako.

Zer iruditu zaizue? Inoiz josi duzue gizonentzako patroiren bat?

Like I repeated many times, I love buttons, but my buttonhole burns in the hell! When I try to sew them, They are a great disaster! So, when I saw my almost perfect Negroni, I didn´t want to damage it with my buttonholes, so I put metallic snaps. The shirt comes out very modern and neat with snap, it was a great idea to use them.

The model likes his shirt, but If I´m going to sew a new Negroni, he has some complaints and changes, like a nice seamstress, I note all his recommendations.
