I love Naii´s blog! She is amazing, she writes a lot of sewing tutorials and she always has time to host a sewalong, I think that she is one of the most lovely bloggers I read ;-)

Nirekin josia egin behar zuela enteratu nintzenean eta praka eroso hauek egin ahal izango genituela irakurri nuenean, kaka zaharra pentsatu nuen! Ez dut denborarik izango! Ta hori esan nion Naiiri, baina berak animatu ninduen eta horrelako erantzuna izanda ba jostea baino ez zitzaidan geratzen.

Cuando me enteré de su cose conmigo y de que coseríamos este pantalón pensé, ¡mierda! ¡No tengo tiempo! Y eso es lo que le dije a Naii, pero ella me animó y claro...si tu me dices ven, ¡lo dejo todo!

When I noticed that she was preparing a sewalong to make a pair of pants, I thought...shit! I have no time! So I told her that I was busy, but she cheered me and finally I made them!

Eta ez naiz damutzen. Junho praka, erreza josterakoan eta oso erosoa erabiltzerakoan baita!

Y no me arrepiento de nada. Los pantalones Junho, además de ser super fáciles de coser, ¡son muy cómodos! 

I do not regret anything, Junho pants are sooooo easy to sew and very comfy to wear.

Nik aldaketa txikitxo bat egin dizkiet, luzatu egin ditut eta zabalera kendu diet.

Yo les he hecho un pequeño cambio, los he alargado y les he quitado un poco de anchura.

Erabili dudan ehuna Oianek eman zidan Tela horribilis erronkarako, eskerrikasko guapa! Ehun desberdinak bidali zizkidan eta hau ez zitzaidan batere horribilis iruditu kar, kar, kar!

La tela que he utilizado me la mandó Oiane, era una de las que me mando para el reto de Tela Horribilis, ¡muchas gracias Oiane! Me mando diferentes telas y esta no me pareció nada horribilis, ¡ja, ja, ja! 

The fabric I choice, was a present :-) Oiane sent me many differents fabrics. Thank you very much Oiane!

Gerrialdean goma elastikoa jarri diot, ehun hain arina denez, horrela hobeto geratzen da.

En la cintura le he puesto elástico, como es una tela tan ligera es lo que mejor queda.

I put a elastic waist, for this kind of light fabrics, this is the best option.

Naii sewalong finished!

 

Naiiren sewalongeko erropa amaituta daukat. Eskerrikasko Naii! Lan ederra egin duzu patroiak prestatzen eta argibide denak argazki piloekin argitaratzen, makina bat zara! Egia esan joste eta blogen mundua pasada bat da, sormenez beteriko pertsona piloa egotetik aparte, beraien jakinduria partekartzeko gogo izugarria daukate!

Ya he terminado el vestido del sewalong de Naii. Muchas gracias Naii! Has hecho un trabajo increible preparando los patrones y haciendonos llegar toda esa información con tus entradas, ¡eres una máquina! El mundo bloguero costuril es una pasada, además de haber mucha gente creativa siempre tienen ganas de compartir su sabiduría!

I've finished Naii sewalong dress. Naii thank you very much! You did an amazing job preparing patterns and making us get all that information with your pictures, you're the best! The sewing blogosphere is amazing, in addition to many creative people, they always want to share their knowledge!

Oso pozik nago jantziaren itxurarekin, oraingoan ikutu elegantea eman diot galtzerdi eta takoiekin, baina udan era "casual"ean eramateko jantzia ere bada. Komentatu nizuen bezalaxe nik kamiseta, arropara aldatu dut, aldaketa hau oso erraza da, egin beharreko lan bakarra gonaren aurreko eta atzeko piezak luzatzea da. Naiiren bertsioen artean, botonadura asimetrikoa zeukana aukeratu nuen.

Estoy muy contenta con el vestido y su forma, esta vez le he dado un toque elegante con medias y tacon pero en verano puedo ponérmelo sin medias y de una forma más casual. Como os comenté el patrón de Naii era tipo top largo pero yo prefería hacer un vestido, que no conlleva ningún misterio, solamente se tiene que alargar las piezas de la falda trasera y delantera. Aparte de eso elegí la opción de botonadura asimétrica.

I am very happy with the dress and its shape, this time I've given a chic touch with tights and heels but in summer I can wear it without tights and in a more casual way. As I commented in a previous post, Naii pattern was a tunic but I preferred a dress, which carries no mystery, only have to lengthen front and back skirt pieces. Other than that I chose the option of asymmetric button placket.

Era honetako ehunarekin gutxitan josi izan dut eta egia esan apurtxo bat konplikatua dela esango nuke. Gainera oso puntu jertsey fina aukeratu nuen eta josteko makinaren azpian ez da oso ondo portatu :-S Baina jantziaren "fris fris" efektuak eman dizkidan burukomin guztiak balio ditu! Zer den fris fris hori galdetuko didazue ezta? Bada aldakak alde batetik bestera mugitzen dituzunean ehunak egiten duen efektu zoragarria da, leun eta elegante mugitzen da alde batetik bestera, ederra benetan!

Mi experiencia con el punto jersey es muy limitada, y me ha parecido un poco difícil trabajar con este tipo de tela. Además elegí una tela muy delgada y no se ha comportado muy bien debajo de la máquina de coser :-S Pero la verdad es que ha merecido la pena todos los dolores de cabeza que me ha dado la telita, por el efecto "fris fris" que hace. Os preguntareis que es eso del "fris fris" verdad? Pues es la forma en que se mueve la tela cuando mueves las caderas de un lado a otro, es un moviento lento y suave, ¡me encanta!

My experience with the jersey knit is very limited, and I found a little difficult to work with this type of fabric. Also I chose a very thin fabric and it has not worked very well under the sewing machine:-S But the truth is that it was worth all the headaches that gave me the piece of cloth, by the effect "fris fris" it does. You will ask what is that "fris fris"? It is the way that the fabric moves when you move your hips from side to side, is a slow and gentle movement, love it! (sure that in english, this has a name)

Konturatuko zinetenela uste dut, baina badaezpada...ileapaindegian izan naiz eta look aldaketarekin natorkizue! Kar, kar, kar! Ile lisua jarri didate, baina lasai, dutxa azpian nire kizkurrak bueltatuko dira eta!

Seguramente os habréis dado cuenta, pero por si acaso os comento que he pasado por la peluquería! Qué cambio de look verdad? Ja, ja, ja...Me han puesto el pelo liso, pero tranquilas, que debajo de la ducha mis rizos apareceran otra vez!

You have probably already noticed, but just in case I commented that I have change my hair! Do you like my new look? Ha ha ha ... I have straight hair, but quiet, under the shower, my curls will appear again!

Naii sewalong in progress!

Kaixo! Gaurkoan Naiiren sewalongaren aurrerapenak erakutsiko dizkizuet. Naii lan ikaragarria egiten ari da, azalpen ugari eman ditu ehunaren inguruan eta patroia nola neurtu behar den. Patroi beretik bertsio ugari egin ditu eta nik bertsio asimetrikoa egingo dut (behekaldean dagoen argazkian agertzen dena).

¡Hola! Hoy os quiero enseñar mis adelantos en el Sewalong de Naii. Naii esta haciendo un trabajo increible, ha hecho un montón de entradas explicando el comportamiento de la tela elástica y como tenemos que adaptar el tamaño del patrón. Además de un mismo patrón Naii ha hecho diferentes versiones y yo me he decantado por la versión asimétrica (la versión que aparece en la foto de abajo).

Hi there! This post is about my progress in the Naii´s sewalong. Naii is doing an incredible work with this sewalong, she is explaining how to work with jersey knits fabric and how to alter the pattern to fit well. Besides, she has drafted different versions of the pattern and I chose the asimetric top (you can see it in the picture below).

Naiiren patroitik tunika tamainuko pieza ateratzen da baina nik piezak luzatu eta jantzia egingo dut. Aukeratu dudan ehuna jersey elastiko fina da. Gernikan erosi nuen ehuna da. Zer iruditzen zaizue? Niri koloreak asko gustatzen zaizkit eta gainera ehunak jauskera ederra dauka, jantzi honetarako beharrezkoa den ezaugarria.

Desde el patrón de Naii se puede coser una túnica, pero yo voy a alargar las piezas para tener un vestido. Para coser mi vestido voy a utilizar un punto jersey muy finito, así que haré la versión elástica. Esta tela la compre en Gernika, qué os parece? A mi me encanta el color y el dibujo de esta tela, pero aparte me gusta mucho la caida que tiene, esto me va venir genial para el vestido de Naii.

From Naii pattern, you can sew a tunic, but I'm going to lengthen the pieces to have a dress. To sew my dress I will use a very thin jersey knit, so I'll sew the elastic version. I bought this fabric in Gernika, do you like it? I really love the colour and the print, but otherwise I really like how drapes the fabric, it´s perfect for this kind of patterns.

Naiik proba bat egitea gomendatu digu eta nire ehuna hain gustoko dut ez dudala piziatu nahi hori dela eta bertsio sinplea ebaki eta josi dut neurria ondo dagoen jakiteko. Baina proba josi baino lehen...mini-maiderra! Bi mini-maider marraztu nituen, bata kamiseta tamainuarekin eta botoiduna eta bestea jantzia. Jantzia gustatu zitzaidanez jantzia josiko dut.

Naii nos ha recomendado que hagamos una prueba y a mi que me encanta mi tela, así que he pensado que era una buena idea para no piciarla y cortar el tamaño que no es. Para ello he realizado una prueba de la versión simple. Pero antes de ver la prueba... mis mini-maider! Dibujé dos, una con la túnica y versión botonera y otra versión vestido y asimétrica. Como ya sabéis coseré la asimétrica porque a mi mini-maider le sienta fenomenal.

 

Naii recommended us to test our size with a muslin. I thought it was a good idea because I love my fabric and I don´t want to make a big fault with it. For this muslin I cut the more simple version. But before looking at the muslin ... my mini-maider! I drew two, one it´s the tunic with buttons and the other is the asymmetrical dress. As you know the asymmetric is my favourite because my mini-maider looks great on it.

Eta hemen daukazue josi dudan proba edo muselina (nahi duzuen bezela!). Ehun elastikoa erabili dut, benetakoan erabiliko dudan ehuna, askosaz elastikoagoa da baina beno, gutxi gora beherako proba bat egiteko ondo dago. Bularreko pintzak leku egokian daude eta tamaina ona da, hori dela eta, aurrera!

Y aqui tenéis la prueba, muselina o glasilla (madre mia que lio!) que he cosido. La tela que he escogido es mucho más elástica que la de la prueba, pero para una más o menos esta bien. Las pinzas del pecho están donde tienen que estar y el tamaño es el correcto, así que sigo hacia delante!

And this is my muslin. The muslin´s fabric isn´t elastic enough, but more or less is sufficient to test the pattern´s size. Bust darts are in the correct place and I think that this is my size, so I continue forward!

Naiiren ENE patroia testatuta!!! Naii, lan ederra egin duzu, patroia izugarri geratu da. Benetan oso patroi gomendagarria da, erosi egin behar diozue Naiiri. Argibideak ederto ulertzen dira eta bertsio izugarriak egin daitezke! Bere blogean eskegi ditu testeatzaileak egin dituzten bertsioak.

Patroia testeatzea erantzunkizun handiko lana izan da eta espero dut nik egindako esfortzua eta nire gomendioak ondo etorri izana Naiiri. Eskerrikasko eman didazun aukerarengatik! 

¡¡¡Testado el patrón ENE de Naii!!! Naii has hecho un trabajo increible, el patrón ha quedado muy bien. Este es un patrón muy recomendable se lo tenéis que comprar a Naii. Las instrucciones se entienden a la perfección y se pueden hacer unas versiones geniales! Naii ha colgado las versiones de las diferentes testadoras en su blog.

Testear un patrón ha sido un trabajo de bastante responsabilidad y espero que mi esfuerzo y recomendaciones le hayan servido de algo a Naii. Muchas gracias por la oportunidad que me has dado Naii!

I have just tested the ENE pattern by Naii!!! Nai, you have made an incredible work and the pattern is very well done. This pattern is highly recommended, you have to buy it. The instructions are clear and you can sew cute versions! She has uploaded testers´ versions to her blog.

Sudaderaren aurrekaldeko forma horrek estilizatu egiten du eta kaputxa totala da! Esan beharra daukak nire bertsioa itxita izan arren, kaputxa hori beste bertsiokoa dela, zabalik erabili daitekeen bertsioarena. Ehuna ebakitzerakoan lapsusa izan nuen...baina hala ere ederra geratu da horrela ezta? Bestalde barnekaldeko josketa lanak nire overlockrer barriarekin egin ditut, oso profesionalak gelditzetik aparte arrapalada batean egin dut sudadera...pasada bat da, lana asko errezten du makina tipo honek.

La forma delantera del patrón estiliza la figura y la capucha es una pasada! Tengo que deciros que mi capucha es de la versión de sudadera con frontal abierto, aunque mi versión sea la de versión cerrada. Tuve un lapsus cuando cortaba el patrón...pero ha quedado chula con la capucha así verdad? Las costuras las he cosido con mi nueva y esperadísima remalladora, aparte de que ha quedado muy profesional, he cosido la sudadera super rápido... es una pasada lo ligera que va y como te facilita el trabajo.

The front form stylizes the body and the hood rocks! My version´s hood, is from the opened hoodie but I sewed the closed version. When I was cutting the pattern, I had a mistake with the hoodie and because of this the hoodie looks like the opened version, but it is awesome in this way, isn´t it? I have sewn the seams with my new serger. I have got a neat and very professional inside, and I have sewed the hoodie super fast ... it is amazing how  you work easier and faster with this kind of machine.

Erabili dudan ehuna "tela polarra" esaten zaion hori da, ta oso oso oso oso epela da! Goxoa eta lehuna da izugarri gustatu zait ;-) Hori bai hotza dagoen egunetan erabili, bestela hazkurea izango duzu, ehuna Gernikako denda batean aurkitu nuen "Telas al peso Begoña" deitzen da. Barnekaldeko piezak egiteko puntu zuriak dituen ehun beltza erabili dut denda berberekoa da, puntu tubular grisa La Pantiganari erosi diot.

Zer iruditzen zaizue nire konbinazio osoa?

Para coser la sudadera he utilizado tela polar, muy muy muy calentita! Es esponjosa y suave, me encanta ;-) Eso si, hay que usarla con frio porque sino pica. La compré en Gernika en una tienda llamada "Telas al peso Begoña". Para las piezas del forro he utilizado una tela de puntos blanca y negra de la misma tienda y la tela de punto tubular gris es de La Pantigana.

¿Qué os parece mi conjunto completo?

To sew the hoodie, I used fleece, very very very warm! It's fluffy and soft, I love the pieces;-) This material needs to be used with cold because otherwise you will have to scratch your skin. I bought it in a store from Gernika called "Telas al peso Begoña". For lining, I used polka dot fabric from this store and the strech fabric for cuffs and bottom is from the La Pantigana shop.

Testing a pattern and a sew-along!

Zer moduz doa astea neska mutilak? Joste proiekturen bat mahai ganean? Nik makina bat ditut ;-) 

How about your week? Do you have any sewing project in progress? I have many of them ;-)

Orain dela pare bat aste nire marrazkiekin zer egin behar nuen komentatu nizuen, sarrera hori gogoratzen duzue? Burda challengerako alkandora amaitua dut (hemen sarrera) eta gero berokia eta prakak zeuden. Berokia Rosyk antolatutako sew-alongekoa da eta astelehenean hasi zen patroia eraldatzen. Hori dela eta animatu eta parte hartu asko ikastetik aparte, zuek jositako beroki eder bat izango duzue eta.

A couple of weeks ago I presented you my "mini-maiders" and my future projects, do you remember that post? In fact, the blouse I wanted to sew for the Burda challenge, is finished (here). The fuchsia coat is the next garment in my list and in the sew-along hosted by Rosy. Rosy started on monday,  she is transforming the pattern to create the coat. Do not hesitate! You have to participate, we are learning many things and we will have an amazing fucshia coat in our closet.

We are going to sew this amazing fuchsia coat!

Prakak imaginatuko duzuen bezalaxe alde batera utzi ditut beste behin eta gauza desberdin batekin nago. Naiiren patroi bat testeatzeko aukera daukat!!! Bai aukeratuen artean nago eta bere patroia probatuko dut. Eskerrikasko konfidantzagatik Naii!!!! Probatzen nagoen patroia ENE SUDADERA da. Patroia bat probatzen dudan lehen aldia denez, gauzak lasai eta tentuz egiten ari naiz, argibideak irakurri eta zerbait ez badut ondo ulertzen paper batean apuntatzen. Ahal dudan guztia lagundu nahi baidiot Naiiri ;-)

What you're imagining, I will confirm ... the pants I have left behind in my list, I'm sewing something else. Naii has chosen me to test one of their patterns before launching it!!! I am one of the nominees and I am sewing her pattern. Thanks for the confidence Naii!!!! The pattern, that I´m testing is the "ENE HOODIE". It´s the first time I have tested a pattern, so I´m doing all the steps carefully and calm to find errors or things like that. All because I want to help Naii, all I can ;-)

ENE patroia oso gustoko dut, gorputzera ondo egokitzen da eta jazteko erosoa da. Sudaderak bi bertsio dauzka, aurrekaldea zabalik duena (umeei titia ematen dien emakumeentzako pentsatua) eta aurrekaldea itxia daukana eta noski umeentzako bertsioa ere badago. Nik itxita dagoena aukeratu dut. Sudadera egiteko ehun diferentea aukeratu dut, sudadera ehuna izan beharrean polarra esaten zaiona erabiliko dut. Grazia egin zidan kuadrodun ehuna izatea, ikutu serioa duen jantzi dibertigarria! Nahastea ona zela iruditu zitzaidan. Barneko piezentzako motadun ehun zuri beltza aukeratu dut.

I like the ENE pattern, it fits well and it looks comfy and cute. This hoodie has two versions, one is with an opened front (designed for moms who are nursing period) and the other version has a closed front. Besides ENE has a version for children. I´m sewing the closed version for ladies :-)  To sew this special project I chose a special fabric, instead of a common sweatshirt fabric, I bought a fabric called "polar" in spanish, very warm and foamy. The fabric is a black and white plaid and this made me smile, a serious fabric in a funny garment! I thought that it would be a perfect mix. For the linning I cut a black and white polka dots fabric, I had in my stash.

Beno ba ni ooooosooooo lanpetuta nago, baina zuek josteko denbora baduzue gauza oso interesgarriak dituzue blogosferan, aukera batzuk emango dizkizuet:

- Lolita Patterns patroi etxe berria argitaratu dute aste hontan. Dohaineko patroia atera dute "Fuchsia gona" eta otsailaren 11n sew-along bat hasiko dute.

- Julia Bobbinek Mad Men telesaieko bigarren sew-alonga antolatu du. Jantzi ederrak egin zituzten antolatutako lehenengo erronkan.

- Megan Nielsen patroi etxetik beraien Briar kamisetaren sew-alonga egiten ari dira.

- Soniak eta Mariak beste lehiaketa bat antolatu dute "11 proiektu 2013rako". Hilabete bakoitzean proiektu desberdin bat egiteko aukera daukazue.

Norbaitek beste erronkaren bati buruz badaki komentatu horrela denok enteratzen gara. Musu handi bat guztiontzat!

Well, I am veeeeeery busy, but if you have time to sew stuff, I will find for you more interesting sew-along and challenges in the blogosphere. I can´t participate in all the challenges but maybe you can:

- Lolita Patterns is a new indie patterns company with a new and free skirt pattern. They are going to host a sew-along with their "Fuchsia skirt" on 11th of february.
- Julia Bobbin is hosting the Mad Men Dress Challenge 2. In the first challenge they had sewed amazing garments.
- Megan Nielsen is hosting the Briar sew-along.
- Sonia and Maria have created the "11 projects for the 2013". Each month, you have to sew something different about a given topic.
