¡Hola! Hoy tengo el honor de ser una reviewer, si, si, si...resulta que Jennifer Lauren Handmade me mandó su patrón, The Juniper Cardigan, para que lo probará y así compartir mi experiencia con vosotras. La verdad es que sus patrones tienen un toque vintage que molan mucho, ¿os gustan? ¿los conocéis? Bueno, ¡vamos al lio!

El jersey-cardigan-sudadera molona (yo es que a esto le llamo de varias formas...porque según la tela que uses, puede tener una pinta u otra), tiene dos versiones. Yo he elegido la corta porque tenía una tela que quedaba genial con un vestido y esta versión corta, en mi opinión conjunta perfectamente con vestidos de corte en la cintura.
El patrón es un PDF y yo lo imprimí en casa. El patrón esta montado para que tú vayas eligiendo las hojas que tienes que imprimir según que eliges, versión corta o larga y mangas 3/4 o largas. Tengo que decir que cuando imprimí el patrón, no apareció el recuadro completo de cada página, en un lado...creo que fue un error de mi impresora, es decir, que el margen de impresión de mi impresora es mayor que el que tiene el patrón. Es la segunda vez que me pasa esto con un PDF, así que no es lo normal que un patrón tenga un margen tan pequeño.
The sweater-cardigan-cool sweatshirt (I'm calling this in several ways... because depending on the fabric you use, it goes in a way or another), has two versions. I chose the cropped version because I had a fabric that was a great combination with my blue dress. In my opinion, this short cardigan combines perfectly with this kind of dresses fitted at the waist.
I have the PDF version and I have printed it at home. The pattern is thought for choosing only the sheets you have to print according to your version choice, short or long version and 3/4 sleeves or long sleeves. I have to say that when I printed the pattern, the box around the page did not appear, on one side ... I think it was a mistake of my printer, the margin of impression of my printer is bigger than the pattern´s margin. It's the second time this has happened to me with a PDF, so it's not normal to have such a small margin.
¿Os gusta? La verdad es que en este conjunto primero fue el vestido y luego el cardigan, ¡ja, ja, ja! El vestido lo compré en Trakabarraka y quería algo que le pegase y creo que ha quedado super bien, combinan perfectamente. La tela es una sudadera efecto terciopelo de Coser Cosas y el puño naranja es de Telaria. Las fotos las he sacado el único día soleado de febrero...madre mía, ¡menudo invierno! Por eso el nombre de la entrada de hoy ¡ja, ja, ja!
La talla que he cortado y cosido es la 12. Como me imaginaba, de hombros me queda un poco grande y de cintura me queda perfecta, ¿la cambio? Pues la verdad es que la siguiente versión la voy a coser igual porque no es para tanto. Eso si, tengo que mejorar algunas cosas que me han quedado regulín...últimamente he hecho bastantes cagadas costuriles, todavía no os he contado todas ¡ja, ja, ja! Y creo que ha llegado la hora de tomarme un par de semanas sin coser, después de terminar lo que tengo encima de mi mesa de costura, necesito airear mi espacio costuril. Lo voy ha hacer para volver con más fuerza y ganas. ¿Os pasa esto?
Do you like it? The truth is that in this outfit, the first was the blue dress and then I have sewn my yellow cardigan! I bought the dress in Trakabarraka and I wanted something to wear with it and I think it was very good idea to make a Juniper Cardigan, they combine perfectly. The fabric is a velvet effect sweatshirt from Coser Cosas and the orange cuff is from Telaria. I took the pics the only sunny day of February... omg, this basque winter! That's why the name of today's post ha, ha, ha!
The size that I cut and sewed is 12. As I imagined, I have a little big at the shoulders and perfectly fitted at the waist. Well the truth is that my next version will be a 12 also, I love the way it turns out and it is sooo comfy... Yes, I know, I have to improve some things that turned out more or less well... lately I've done enough sewing errors, I still have not told you all ha, ha, ha! I have sewn many...too many, and I think the day to stop has come. I have to take a couple of weeks without sewing, after finishing the stuff, I have on my sewing table. I need to ventilate my sewing space. I'm going to do it to come back stronger and with more energy to sew. Do you feel in this way sometimes?
La construcción de este cardigan no tiene mayor misterio la verdad, es un pelín difícil por el tipo de tejido que pide, pero tiene muy pocas piezas y la forma de encajarlas queda claro en las intrucciones. Las instrucciones son del tipo viñeta, es decir no es una foto, y como he dicho no tiene mayor complicación si ya tienes experiencia cosiendo. Para mi lo más dificil fue poner los remaches...¡ja, ja, ja!
The construction of this cardigan has no mystery, it is a bit difficult because of the type of fabric it requests, but it has very few pieces and the way to sew them is clear in the instructions. The instructions are of the bullet type, it is not a photo, and as I said, it does not have much complication if you already have experience sewing. For me the most difficult thing was to put the metal buttons... ha, ha, ha!
La combinación de color me tenía un poco asustada...no soy muy de combinar, ya me conocéis, pero ahora que lo veo, ¡me encanta! Y queda tan chulo con el vestido... Lo que más me gusta de este patrón es el hombro, esa forma que tiene es preciosa y la verdad es que me tienta mucho hacer una versión con dos tonos diferentes o diferentes telas, pero eso ya lo veremos otro día.
The color combination had me a little scared ... I'm not a very combining person, you know, but now that I see it, I love it! And it is so cool with the dress... What I like most about this pattern is the shoulder, that shape is beautiful and the truth is that I'm very tempted to make a version with two different shades os colour or different fabrics, but that's, we will see another day.
