Bartzelonan izan naiz! Urteak ziren ez nintzela Bartzelona bisitatzera joaten eta egia esan gogo itzelak nituen :-) Horrelako gauzetarako ez da aitzakirik behar, baina oraingoan, aitzaki ederra neukan, kuadrilako lagun bat bisitatzera joan nahi genuen, eta aste pare batean dana pentsatu eta egin! Kar, kar, kar!

¡He estado en Barcelona! Hacía años que no iba a visitar esta preciosa ciudad :-) Para hacer este tipo de cosas no se necesitan muchas excusas, pero esta vez teníamos una muy buena, había que visitar a una amiga que vive allí desde hace unos años. En un par de semanas preparamos todo y allí que  nos fuimos! ¡Ja, ja, ja!

Last week, I was in Barcelona! Been years since I went to visit this beautiful city :-) To do this kind of thing We don´t need many excuses, but this time we had a very good one, we had to visit a friend who lives there for some years.  In two weeks we prepared everything and we went there!

Bartzelonan izanda, bertako jostunak ezagutu behar nituela pentsatu nuen eta beraiekin harremanetan jarri nintzen. Lehenengo kafetxo bat hartu genuen, bertan Mari Cruz, Mònica, Miren eta Paula zeuden. Joskintza, bizitza eta beste hainbat gauzen inguruan hitzegin genuen, benetan harrigarria da hainbeste denbora pasatu ostean pertsona bati hitza eta mugimendua jartzea, emozionantea :-) Urquinaona inguruan geratu ginen eta bertako ehun dendak kuxkuxeatu genituen.

Ya que iba a Barcelona, tenía que quedar con algunas costureras de allí, así que me puse en contacto con ellas. Primero nos tomamos un cafecito Mari Cruz, Mònica, Miren, Paula y yo. Hablamos de nuestras costuras y de la vida, la verdad es que es muy emocionante ponerle voz y movimiento a una persona que sigues desde su blog :-) Como habíamos quedado cerca de Urquinaona, fuimos a cotillear las tiendas de los alrededores.

I was going to visit Barcelona, so I had to meet with some seamstresses there. First I took a coffee with Mari Cruz, Mònica, Miren and Paula. We talked about our sewing projects and the life, the truth is that it was very exciting to hear their voices and to see their movements in the real life :-) We were near Urquinaona and we went to gossip surrounding fabric shops.

Gero Els Encantsera joan ginen eta bertan Eva, batu zitzaigun. Esan behar dut, flipatu egin nuela...a ze merkatua! Eta ehunak? Ia oparituta daude! Postu bateko gizonak metro piloa oparitu zizkigun! Etxera heldu nintzenean metroak begiratu eta ez nekien non gorde ere, kar, kar, kar! Ez dizkizuet erosi nituen gauzak erakutsiko...lotsatu egingo naiz eta, gauza piloa erosi nituen, kremallera piloa ere 6 kremallera handi eta 10 txiki, dena bost eurotan!

Después nos fuimos a Els Encats y allí conocí a Eva. Tengo que decir que flipe  bastante...¡qué mercado! ¡Y las telas casi regaladas! El señor de un puesto nos regalo un montón de metros...cuando llegué a casa, no sabía ni donde meter semejante bulto, ja, ja, ja! No os voy a enseñar todo lo que compré...que me voy a avergonzar, lo que si os digo es que por cinco euros me compré 10 cremalleras pequeñas y 6 grandes de esas metálicas y de plástico, vamos una ganga!

Then we went to Els Encats and there we met Eva. I have to say ... what amazing market! And the fabrics almost given away! When I got home, I did not know where to put such a big fabricpackage, ha, ha, ha! I'll not show you everything I bought ... I'm going to embarrass, but I tell you that for five euros I bought 10 small zippers and 6 large metal and plastic zippers, a truly bargain!

Kedada expressa izan zen, alde batetik bestera arineketan ibili nintzen! Neska jator horiekin askoz denbora gehiago egotea gustatuko zitzaidan, baina beno ia hurrengoan lasaiago egon gaitezkeen. Gainera goizeko 6tatik izarrik nengoen, uleak desastre eta izerditan blai, egun osoko jirabirak zirela eta, argazkiak ikusi ditudanean...ai ene! A ze itxura makala neukan! Jostunak utzi ostean kuadrilakoengana joan nintzenean, arpegia eguzkiak errea neukala esan zidaten...a ze giri itxura neukan! Langostino kolorekoa nengoen! Kar, kar, kar!

Bartzelonan ederki pasatu genuen! Jostun zoragarri horiekin berriz egoteko desiatzen nago :-) Musu handi bat neskak!!!

Fue una quedada super expres, ¡anduve corriendo de un lado a otro! Me hubiera gustado pasar mucho más tiempo con estas chicas tan majas, a ver si en la siguiente quedada estamos más tranquilas. Además llevaba desde las 6 de la mañana despierta, con los pelos a lo loco y sudando tinta china por todo el ir venir del día, cuando he visto las fotos...¡madre mia! ¡Vaya pinta mas chunga que tengo! Después de dejar a las costureras me fuí con los de mi cuadrilla y cuando llegue, me dijeron que estaba roja como un langostino, por todo el solete que había tomado durante el día...¡vaya pinta de guiri! ¡Ja, ja, ja!

¡Nos lo hemos pasado genial en Barcelona! Y estoy deseando quedar con estas costureras otra vez :-) ¡¡¡Un  besazo chicas!!!

It was a quick hangout, I walked ran from side to side! I would have liked to spend more time with these girls, I hope that in my next visit we can spend more time together. Also, I woke up at 6 am, with my tangled hair, tired and sweating, when I saw the pictures ... OMG! What an ugly face I had! After leaving the seamstresses, I went with my friends and when I get there, they said I was red as a lobster because of the sun ... Ha ha ha!

We've had great time in Barcelona! And I'm looking forward to meet with these seamstresses again :-) A big kiss girls!!!

Ba bai Madrilen izan naiz :-) a ze hiria! Borborrean dagoen hiria, toki guztietan tabernaren bat zabalik daukan hiria da Madrid eta euskaldun batentzat tabernen asuntoa oso garrantzitsua da, kar, kar, kar! Bero itzela egin zuen eta sofokatu xamarra sentitzen nintzen, baina Euskal Herrian izan dugun eguraldi petrala kontutan izanda, bero pixkat ez zitzaidan txarto etorri!!

Pues si he he estado en Madrid :-) ¡vaya ciudad! Es una ciudad en continua ebollución, en todas las esquinas encuentras un bar abierto y eso para los euskaldunes es muy importante, ja ja, ja!!!! Hizo un calor increible y anduve sofocada los cuatro días, pero claro después de la primavera que nos ha tocado aguantar en Euskadi, pues que quieres que te diga, me molo pasar calor!!

Well, I've been in Madrid last week :-) It´s a crowded city and in every corner you find an open tavern to drink a beer, a very important question for the Basque people, ha ha, ha! The temperature was sooo high that I felt incredibly suffocated the four days I was there, but after the cold spring we had in the Basque Country, I have enjoyed this clima!

La pequeña aprendizeko Soniarekin hitzordua jarria neukan, baina azkenean ezin izan zuen etorri eta pena handia eman zidan...snif snif... Berak esandako dendetatik ibili nintzen eta pasada bat iruditu zitzaizkidan! A ze zortea duzuen Madrilen bizi zaretenak! Prezio ezin hobeak eta ehun izugarri politak!!!! Bi egunetan pasatu behar izan nintzen ehunak erostera...biziatuta nengoen...kar, kar, kar! Ehun oso desberdinak erosi ditut, hemen inoiz ikusi ez ditudanak. Gehien gustatu zitzaidan denda Ribes&Casals izan zen, ehunak ederto jarriak eta era guztietakoak, gainera bertako langileak oso adeitsuak dira.

Había quedado con Sonia de La Pequeña Aprendiz, pero al final no pudo venir y la verdad es que me dio mucha pena...snif, snif... Anduve por las tiendas de tela que ella me recomendó y me parecieron una pasada! Menuda suerte tenéis las costureras de Madrid! Telas increibles y precios inmejorables!!!! Tanto me gustaron las tiendas, que me pase un par de días por ellas... estaba viciada, ja, ja, ja! He aprovechado para comprar telas, que nunca he visto por aqui. La tienda que más me gusto fue Ribes&Casals tienen de todo y muy bien puesto, además el personal es muy agradable.

I had a meeting with Sonia from La pequeña Aprendiz, but in the end she could not come and the truth is that I was sad... sniff, sniff...I went to the fabric stores she recommended me and I was drooling! What luck you have seamstresses of Madrid! Incredible fabrics and unbeatable prices!! I liked the shops very much, so I went a couple of days to buy fabrics ... I was flawed, ha ha ha! And I had the chance to buy fabric that I've never seen in my local store. The store that I liked more was Ribes & Casals, they have many kind of fabrics and very well exposed, also the staff is very nice.

Bestalde Gernika kuadroa ikustera joan ginenean, museoko dendan hurrengoa aurkitu nuen....zihur ezaguna egingo zaizuela...

Por otro lado cuando fuimos a ver el Gernika de Picasso, en la tienda del museo, encontré un libro alucinante...seguro que lo conocéis...

On the other hand when we went to see Picasso's Guernica, I found an amazing book in the museum shop ... sure you know this book...

Esku hartean neukanean, flipatu egin nuen...nirea izan behar zen eta orain hala da! Liburu hau pasada bat da, oso oso interesgarria. Patroiak nola marrazten diren azaltzen du era oso errazean, probatu beharra daukat.

Cuando lo tuve en mis manos, flipe...tenía que ser mio! Este libro es una pasada, muy muy interesante. Explica como crear los patrones de una forma muy fácil, tengo que probar la técnica. 

When I had it in my hands, I freaked ... it had to be mine! This book is amazing, very very interesting. It explains how to create patterns in a very easy way, I have to try the technique.

Lau egun izan nintzen bertan eta lasai asko egon eta lana alde batera utzita nire gauzetaz pentsatzeko parada izan nuen, jostuna izatea maite dudala baina gauzak lasaiago hartuko ditudala pentsatu dut. Burda challenge eta 11 proyectos para el 2013 erronkak lasai hartu behar ditut eta nahi dudanean eta nahi dudana josiko dudala pentsatu dut, azken aldian erronka askotara apuntatu naiz eta apur bat estresatuta sentitu izan naiz. Hori dela eta parkatuko didazue ez baditut erronkak jarraitzen hitza eman ostean, baina josterako momentuan askeago sentitu nahi dut.

Beno ba Madrilera egin dudan bidaia zoragarria izan da eta ederto pasatu dut, musu handi bat Madrid eta hurrengorarte!


Durante los cuatro días que estuve en Madrid tuve tiempo para desconectar del curro y pensar en lo mucho que me gusta coser y en que tengo que coger esto de la costura con más tranquilidad. Entre el Burda Challenge y  11 proyectos para el 2013 me he sentido un poco agobiada y sin tiempo para coser otras cosas que se me han ido acumulando. Voy a dejar de exigirme tanto con los retos de cada més e intentaré coser lo que me apetece cuando me apetezca. Espero que me perdonéis no estar al día con los retos después de dar mi palabra.

El viaje a Madrid ha estado super bien y lo hemos pasado genial, un besazo Madrid y hasta la siguiente!


During the four days I was in Madrid, I had time to disconnect and to think about how much I like to sew, but that I should sew in a calmer way. Among the Burda Challenge and 11 projects for 2013 I have felt a bit overwhelmed and I have no time to sew other things that I have accumulated. I push myself to stop both challenges of each month and try to sew what I want when I want. I hope you forgive me not keep up with the challenges after giving my word.

The trip to Madrid has been a nice experience and we had a great time, a big kiss Madrid and until the next!
