Tan ta ta txan...nire Sureau jantzia amaitu dut! Super erosoa, oso epela eta dotorea, adjetibo horiek izango lirateke nire jantziari jarriko nizkionak.

Patroi hau berriro egingo dudalakoan nago, oso errez jostetik aparte bertsioak ugariak izan daitezke. Mahukak kenduta, alkandora erara eta zamaldean era askotako osagarriak jarrita, peter pan zamaldea adibidez.

I think that I´m going to repeat this pattern, it´s easy to sew and you can make differents versions. Without sleeves, like a shirt or adding a peter pan collar for example.

Kuadrodun tartana aukeratu nuen eta blogger askok komentatu zidaten zerbait berezia egin nezakeela kuadroekin, baina azkenean nire ehun kantitatea ez da nahiko izan piezak biesera ebakitzeko. Barruko piezak eta botoien pieza biesera ebaki ditut, baina beharbada apur bat pobretxoa geratu da, hala ere oso gustoko dut jantzia!

 I chose a soft plaid for my dress and many bloggers told about the possibility to cut the fabric on bias, but my fabric quantity wasn´t enough for that. I cut a couple of pieces in that way, maybe it would be more funny in other way, but still I love my new dress!

Aurreko sarreran komentatu nizuen bezala, botoi handiegiak erosi nituen, hori dela eta beste batzuk erosi beharrean botoi kaxa zabaldu eta lau botoi eder horiek aurkitu nituen. Konturatuko zineten bikoteka doazela ezta? Joku hori egitea pentsatu nuen eta toke berezia hartzen du jantziak botoi desberdinak erabilita, efektua dotorea izatetik aparte, kolore zuria oso ondo doakio nire tartanari.

In my last post, I told you that my buttons were too bigger for the Sureau, instead buying more buttons, I chose in my button box two types of beautiful white buttons. I thought about the possibility to mix the two types and finally, the mix was the perfect touch for the dress.

Kuadroak aldamenetan ez dute era perfektuan bat egiten, baina beno, zuek bezalako jostun finak kenduta nor konturatuko da horretaz? Kar, kar, kar... Bestalde piping a jarri dut gerrialde eta botoien plakatxoan eta efektua demasekoa da! Asko gustatu zait!

Nire irakurle maite eta bloggerra den Soniak Sureau jantziaren bertsioa egin du, bere blogetik pasatu behar zarete derrigorrez oso bertsio dotorea baita. Soniak eta nik gehiagotan josiko dugulakoan gaude, patroi onek bertsio asko jasaten ditu!

The lines don´t match very well on the sides, but this is a thing that only can discover a experimented seamstress like you, so don´t worry be happy! Ha, ha, ha... I use piping to finish the button piece and the waistline, I like very much how it looks! Lovely! 

Certainly, my lovely reader and blogger, Sonia, made her own version from the Sureau dress, so you have to see her version is sooooo cute! Sonia and me think that we have to sew many versions of this pattern, its versatility is endless!

Robe Sureau Sew-along: the muslin.

Hemen nabil nire Sureau jantziarekin ez aurrera ez atzera! Aurreko sarrera batean kontatu nizuen, Paunnetek eta Deer&Doek antolatutako erronka honetan parte hartuko nuela ezta? Gogoratzen duzue post hura? Ba bueno gauzaren bat egin dut baina ezer gutxi...pilak jarri beharko ditut, ze abiadura hontan ez dut inoiz amaituko! 

Bestalde Rosyk antolatzen duen Sew-alongean ere parte hartzen dut baina oraindik ez dut ezer josi berarekin...snif, snif... lehenengo jantzia josi dute eta oso bertsio dotoreak egin dituzte. Rosyk hurrengo modeloa aukeratzen utzi digu eta bakoitzak gehien gustatzen zaiona aukeratu du, ia zein den hurrengoa! Begiratu bere blogean zelako gauza ederrak josi behar ditugun! Benetan harrigarria iruditzen zait, Rosy artista bat zara!

Algodoia da baina eskoziarren Tartanaren itxura eta epeltasuna du. Alde batetik suabe-suabea da eta itxura goxokoa da, nik uste hori izango dela nire kanpoaldea, zer deritzozue?

I´m sewing my Sureau Dress, but it is going slow...too slow! I told you about my participation in this challenge hosted by Paunnet and Deer&Doe, do you remember that post? Well, I have sewed something but it isn´t enough... I have to pull this project with more energy! 

Moreover I have to take part in the sew-along hosted by Rosy....snif...sniff... they have sewed the first dress and there were gorgeous versions, and I haven´t sewed any yet. Now Rosy gives you the opportunity to choose the next model for the sew-along. You have to look in her blog the incredible garments that we´re going to create! The truth is that Rosy is an espectacular seamstress!

I was uploading pictures about my Sureau dress to the Flickr group, but I want to share with you the pictures also. First, I´m going to show my fabric choice. It´s cotton like scottish plaid, so warm, I love it! I don´t know what is the right side of fabric and what the wrong side...but in one side it texture is soft and looks so sweet, this side is going to be my right side, what do you think?

Eta harrigarria dela baderitzozue ere...Muslina josi dut!!! Kar, kar, kar....ba bai proba josi dut, baina egia esan oso ondo geratzen zaidanez ez dut aldaketarik egingo.

And sure that you think "that is incredible!"...but yes I sewed a muslin! Ha, ha, ha....the truth is that it looks nice and pretty perfect.

 Neurria ondo aukeratu dut eta ez dit gauza harrarorik egiten. Flickrreko taldean zamaldean zerbait arraroa dagoela eta beharbada sorbalda aldatu beharko nuela komentatu didate... :-S zer uste duzue? Patroia aldatuko zenuten? Nire ustez, problema txikia dena txapuza handia bihurtu daiteke patroia aldatzen hasten banaiz.

I chose the size pretty well and I didn´t see any strange thing. But in the Flickr group, Paunnet and Nessie told me that there was a small gapping at the neckline and maybe I will have to change the shoulder line adjustment :-S  what do you think? Would you change the pattern? In my opinion the problem is very small and maybe it would be a great disaster, if I change the pattern.

Bestalde botoi handiegiak erosi ditut... minus bost puztarri! Beno besteren batzuk aurkitu beharko ditut.

On the other hand, my buttons are too bigger...what a pity! I have to buy others.

Alkandora josi, di-da! Workshop

Masustak Eguzkitan blogak eta nire joste afizioak sorpresa asko eman dizkit, baina sorpresa hau mundiala da! Tailerra eman behar dut!!!! Hau da, ni izango naiz irakaslea! Ai ama...seguru nik baino gehiago dakien norbait datorrela eta nire teknika ezohikoekin flipatu egiten duela! Kar, kar, kar...

Gernikako Berbalagunei emango diet tailerra. Berbalagun egitasmoak euskera bultzatu eta indartzetik aparte, euskaldun zahar eta berriak harremanetan jartzea du helburu. Euskera era jostagarri eta jende berria ezagutzen ikasteko aukera ematen dizu. Hori dela eta nire joste tailerra euskeraz izango da eta noski ez da zertan josten jakin behar, nik azalduko ditut pausu guztiak hasieratik.

Alkandora erraz bat josiko dugu eta ikasiko ditugun tekniken artean, frantsez akabera, bies zintarekin akaberak egiten eta mangak zelan josten diren ikasiko dugu. Ni jostun esprexa naizela argi daukat, gauzak erraz eta denbora galtze barik egitea gustatzen zaidanez, tailerra ere horrelakoxea izango da, di-da!

Egun hortan burudun orratzak, guraizeak eta josteko gogoa eramanda nahikoa duzue! Beste guztia guk jarriko dugu, kafea eta guzti izango da, zapatu goiza euskeraz eta konpania onean pasatzeko aukera duzue eta noski, etxera zuek egindako alkandora batekin bueltatuko zarete!

 My blog and my sewing adventure have given me many surprises, but this is the most amazing surprise! I´m going to teach in a workshop! Yes, I will be the teacher! A workshop about sewing. I hope that student will not be surprised with my strange technic, because I am a self taught seamstress and my sewing life is too short yet.

I´m going to teach in Gernika and within initiative Berbalagun. Berbalagun is a cute initiative to meet people, who speaks basque and people who is studying basque. So you can practice basque, while you are doing something different and meeting friends. So my workshop will be taught in basque, but you don´t have to know sewing, I´m going to explain all the steps.

We´re going to sew an easy shirt and the  technics I´m going to teach are, french seams, to finish a garment with bias tape and to sew an armhole. I´m a "express seamstress", I love finishing things quick and in an easy way, so my workshop will be in this way: easy and quick!

If you are interested in, you will go to Gernika´s AEK or to the Udal Euskaltegia. On first of December will be the workshop and you have to bring only your scissors and your pins, we have all the rest! We are going to have a great saturday morning, sewing, talking in basque and drinking coffee.

Lehenengo ta behin parkamena eskatu nahi dizuet...egia esan azken hilabetean nire post kantitatea nahiko jeitsi da. Lanez lepo nago eta jositako erropak izan arren, inoiz ez dut denborarik aurkitzen, argazkiak atera eta ordenagailu aurrean sarrera idazteko. Hori dela eta argazkiak etxean atera ditut eta hemen nago proiektu berri batekin!

First of all I want to apologize... because lately, my amount of posts is going down. I have new garments to show you, but I am so busy in this moment and I have no time to take pictures and to write a post. So, I took quick pictures at home and here you have my new super comfy pants!

Praka hauek oso erraz josten diren horietakoak dira. Burda 04/12 121 patroia da eta joste tutorialarekin zetozen, hori dela eta oraindik eta errazago egin zait.

These pair of pants are easy to sew. The pattern is  Burda 04/12 121 and in this issue you have a tutorial about these pants, so it´s still easier to sew.

Ehuna Bilbon erosi nuen Rafael Matiasen. Denda hontako ehunak ez dira oso merkeak izaten, baina goiko pisuan, aurreko denboraldietako ehunak merketuta dituzte. Oso kalitate oneko ehunak dira eta merezi izaten du kuxkuxeatzen ibiltzeak. Nire ehuna kamel jaspeatu bielastikoa da (11euro metroa) eta 1,25 metroko luzerarekin nahikoa izan dut. Ehuna oso erosoa eta epela da jazten duzunean, ederto aukeratu dut ehuna, bost puztarri! Kar, kar, kar...

I bought the fabric in Bilbao, in a local store called Rafael Matias. In this store the fabrics are expensive but they have an Outlet in the first floor and you can find fabrics with high quality in a cheap way. My choice is a bielastic fabric, a cute marbled camel and it cost 11euro/m, and I need only 1,25 m for my project. It´s a warm and comfy fabric and I think that it was the best choice!

Patroia apur bat aldatu egin nuen, kanpanolo itxura hori ez zitzaidalako gustatzen eta estutu egin nuen beheko aldea. Bestalde praken tamaina handiegia zen eta noski...muslinik ez nuenez egin ez nekien zerbait argaldu ostean prakak hain handi geratuko zitzaizkidala...zer egin? Burda aldizkarietako modelo desberdinak begiratu nituen eta euretako batek goma elastikoa zeukan gerrialdean. Oso ideia ona iruditu zitzaidan eta nire praketan erabiltzea pentsatu nuen, horrela gabonetako goxoarekin gehiegi pasatzen banaiz praka hauek oraindik ondo geratuko zaizkit! Beste bost puztarri! Kar, kar, kar...


I made some alterations in the pattern, I didn´t want wide leg pants, so I drew the pattern narrower from the knee to the the ankle. Once again I didn´t make muslin and then my pants were bigger than I needed...what could I make? I flipped through magazines, and I found a pair of pants with a elastic band in the waist. I thought that it was a great idea and I sewed it in my pants. Now if I eat many sweets at Christmas, it doesn´t matter, I will wear my pants! Ha, ha, ha....

Gaurkoan sarrera desberdin batekin nator, beste afizio bat gerturatu nahi dizuedalako, perretxiko zalea naiz eta. Euskaldunok askotan jan eta bilatzen ditugu perretxikoak, gure sukaldaritzan maite dugun osagaia da eta janari espezialek eduki beharreko jakia dira.

This post is different from others I wrote, because today I want to discover you one of my favourite hobbies: mushrooms. In the basque country, we eat and we seek a great amount of mushrooms, in our gastronomy we love cooking in many differents ways them. In every special event, we have to cook a mushroom dish.

Perretxiko bilatzaileak izatea, errotutako afizioa da gure familian, udazkena heltzean mendiko botak eta otzara hartuta, basora hurbildu eta "udazken lora" eder eta gozoak aurkitzen ditugu. Nik perretxiko zehatz batzuk baino ez ditut ezagutzen, baina nire Aita expertoa dela esan daiteke eta era askotakoak ezagutzen ditu.

 Seek and pick mushrooms is a hobbie that I inherited from my family. When the autumn is here, we wear boots and we pick the basket, to visit the forest and find out these incredibles  and tasty "autumn flowers". I distinguish a few species of mushrooms, but my father is an expert and, he can distinguish many.

Artikutzara joan behar ginela pentsatu genuenean, basoaz disfrutatu, ogitartekoa jan eta egunpasa egingo genuela pentsatu genuen, baina hara heltzean... a ze baso ederra! Perretxikoz betea egongo da, seguru! Eta  noski, perretxiko bilatzaileak garenez, bidezidorra utzi eta basoan sartu ginen. Behera begira alde batetik bestera abiatu ginen, orbanaren azpikoaldea irabiatzen perretxiko bila.

Last week, we thought that we had to visit Artikutza, enjoy the landscape, eat a sandwich and have a good day, but when we arrived... what a fabolous forest! It has to be full of mushrooms, sure! And how we are mushroom pickers, we left the road and we entered in the forest.  To find mushrooms, you have to walk looking down and removing the leaves.

Artikutza bisitatzen nuen lehenengo aldia zen, ez bazarete inoiz bertan egon, benetan, ezagutzea beharrezkoa duzue. Udazkenean bazatoze hobeto, haritz , pago eta gaztainondoen koloreak izugarriak dira eta! Artikutza Donostiako lurra da, 1919an Nafarroari erositako lurra hain zuzen ere. Hori dela eta Goizuetako lur hauek Donostiako jabetzapean daude. Artikutzako auzoara heltzean baserri ederrak aurkitzen ditugu bertan, lasai asko bazkaltzeko borda aurkituko duzue, ateak zabalik izaten baiditu kuadrilan eta epeletan bazkaltzeko, beti ere janari bertararte eramaten baldin baduzue, ez baita taberna bat.

It was the first time I was in Artikutza, if you haven´t been there never, you have to visit this beautiful landscape. In autumn, oaks, beeches and chestnut trees have cute colours! Artikutza is a land owned by Donostia - San Sebastian. In 1919 Donostia bought Artikutza to Nafarroa - Navarra. When you arrived to the town, you can admire the beautifull buildings. This almost abandoned town has an especial charm.
