Golden pants!

Nire lehenengo prakak josi ditut eta horrelako gauza garrantzitsu batek argazki sesio espeziala behar zuen. Aurreko sarreran (hemen), komentatu nizuen urre koloreko lino ederra erabiliko nuela modelo hau josteko, hortik datorkio izena sarrera honi. Argazkiak Sukarrietan atera dizkidate, Euskal Herriko kostaldeko zonalde eder batean, Urdaibai. Urdaibaiko paduran, lurra, itsasoarekin ezkondu eta paisaia zoragarria sortzen da, ezagutzen ez duzuenentzat bisita oso gomendagarria.

I sewed my first pants and it was a very especial event so I took pictures in a beautiful Basque´s landscape. I told you in my previous post (here), that I was going to use that nice golden linen to sew a Burda´s pattern. I took the pictures in a town called Sukarrieta. Sukarrieta is inside the marsh Urdaibai, a charming place on the Basque coast, in the place where mountains and forests meet the sea.

Burda 04/12 mod.104 josteko burukomin gehien eman didana patroia kopiatzea izan da. Piezak luzeak dira eta nire zeta papera tamainu jakin batekoa denez (merkatuan rolloak saltzen direla ikusi dut, horrelakoa erosi beharra daukat), pare bat paper elkarrekin pegatu behar nituen pieza osoa sar zedin. Hau alde batera uzten badugu, patroia oso errez eta azkar josten da.

The hardest thing sewing Burda 04/12 mod.104 was to copy the pattern. The pieces are very long and I haven´t continuous pattern paper so I have to stick two papers and then trace it. Anyway, it´s a pretty easy pattern to sew.

Gerrialdeko tolesetan, atzekaldean, failo pare bat egin ditut eta apurtxo bat tiratu egiten didala somatzen dut...zer egingo diogu, lehenengo praka parea perfekto irtetea oso zaila dela uste dut! Joste ertz guztiak frantsez erara egin ditut (oso oso oso garbi geratu da!) eta kremallera ere oso ondo josita geratu da, hori dela eta ondo geratu denak txarto geratu denari irabazten dio!

In the back gathered piece, I had problems and finally, there isn´t a perfect match... but don´t worry about it! They are my first pants and it was diffcult to sew perfect. I sewed french seams so the inside is neat! I´m so proud of it! And the invisible zipper is really invisible, so the right things win the wrong things!

Egun ederra zegoen Sukarrietan eta nire Urrezko prakek, hondarrarekin, urarekin eta zeruko urdinarekin bikote polita egiten zuten.

It was a sunny day in Sukarrieta, my Golden pants, the sand, the water and the blue sky mixed in harmony.

Outfita sortzerakoan zerbait berezia egitea pentsatu nuen. Era honetako prakak nahiko informalak dira, baina niri pieza informalak eta dotereak nahastea gustatzen zaidanez, alkandora elegante horrekin konbinatu ditut nire Urrezko prakak. Ileari 1920. hamarkadako toketxoa eman diot eta informal-formal joko hori nahiko lortua geratu zait.

Zer iruditzen zaizue?

When I was thinking about my outfit, I wanted something different. This kind of pants are informal, but I like to mix informal and elegant garments, so I wore this black blouse to combine with my golden pants. I combed my hair with a 20s style and I think that all the outfit turns out well.

What do you think?

Golden pants: Burda 04/12 mod.104.
